Terms & Conditions
An overview of the terms that guide the use of this website and my services

Welcome! These terms explain what you can expect when you use this website, book a discovery call, or engage in my services, and what I ask of you in return. They’re here to protect both of us and keep this space respectful, clear and caring.

Loving To Love is run by Tula Bischof, a psychologist registered and licensed by the Kenya Counsellors and Psychologists Board (Licence No. C&P/P/4155/2025). By using this website or booking a call, you agree to these terms.

1. About this website

The writing, reflections and resources here are shared for general information and inspiration. They’re not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis or individual professional advice. Reading the site, or reaching out through it, does not by itself create a therapeutic or coaching relationship.

2. Not a crisis service

This website and my inbox are not monitored around the clock. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999 or 112, contact the Kenya Red Cross on 1199, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.

3. Discovery calls

Discovery calls are free, last about 30 minutes, and carry no obligation to continue. They’re a space to explore whether we’re a good fit, not a therapy or coaching session.

Because these calls are offered freely, I ask for mutual care with our time:

  • If you can’t make it, please let me know at least 12 hours in advance so the slot can go to someone else.

  • If a discovery call is missed or rescheduled more than twice without notice, I may gently let you know that this may not be the right time for us to connect. You’re always welcome to reach out again when it feels more aligned.

  • Life happens on my side too. If I ever need to reschedule, I’ll let you know as early as I can and offer you another time.

4. Working together

  • Therapy is available only to people living in Kenya or online for Kenyan Diaspora, in line with my professional licensing.

  • Coaching is open to people everywhere. Coaching is not therapy and is not a replacement for mental health treatment.

  • Organisational work is agreed through a separate proposal that sets out its scope, fees and timelines.

Before therapy or coaching begins, you’ll receive a working agreement covering confidentiality, fees, cancellations and how we’ll work together. That agreement guides our professional relationship.

Our work is a relationship, and both of us have a say in it. You can decide at any point that it no longer feels right for you. Equally, I may decline or end a working relationship, and offer referrals, if I don’t believe I’m the right fit for what you need or if the conditions for safe, respectful work aren’t there.

5. Age

My services are for adults aged 18 and over. If you’re under 18, please reach out with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

6. Fees and payment

Fees are shared during the discovery call, or in your proposal. Payment is due before each session unless we agree otherwise. Cancellation and refund details are set out in your working agreement.

7. Newsletter and blog

If you sign up for the newsletter, you’ll receive occasional emails from me. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. If you comment on the blog, please keep it kind and respectful. I may remove comments that are hurtful, discriminatory, spam, or that share someone else’s private information.

8. Respect, both ways

I’m committed to treating everyone who connects with me with dignity and care, and I ask the same in return. I may stop responding to anyone who is abusive, harassing or threatening, by message, email or any other channel.

9. My content

The writing, illustrations, artwork, logos and resources on this website are my own work unless stated otherwise. You’re very welcome to share links and short quotes with credit. Please don’t copy, sell or republish them without my written permission.

10. Other websites

This site may link to other websites or platforms. I’m not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

11. Accuracy

I take care to keep the information here accurate and up to date, but things can change and mistakes can happen. If you notice something that seems wrong, I’d be grateful if you let me know.

12. Your privacy

How I collect and care for your personal information is explained in the [Privacy Notice].

13. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

15. Questions

If anything here is unclear, please reach out at connect@lovingtolove.com. I’m always happy to talk it through.
